No word on Bettany’s role, but a report from SlashFilm claims he’s replacing Michael K. The untitled Han Solo film, which stars Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, and Emilia Clarke, will fly into theaters on May 25, 2018. Director Ron Howard, who took over deep in production for previous directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord, broke the news by sharing a picture of himself with Bettany, writing, “The Outer Rim just got a little bit wilder.” The actor retweeted Howard’s message and added, “It’s a dream come true.”
