Cruise often performs many of his own stunts, stunning audiences as he scaled the   surface of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa for   Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, or getting tossed around while   filming inside a zero gravity plane for   Universal’s   The Mummy,   and before that performing an action sequence where he   dangles from the outside of a plane as it taxis and takes off in   Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher,   M:I   — Rogue Nation) is directing from his own script, and the movie also stars Henry Cavill, Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, and Michelle Monaghan. Show Full Article TMZ posted video   of the action, where the 55-year-old actor was wired to an overhead rig while performing a building-to-building jump Sunday in London. After Cruise stands, hobbling a few more steps, he eventually is pulled back to the first building via his safety wires, where he walks away, escorted by the crew. Cruise returns as agent Ethan Hunt for   M:I 6, slated for release on July 27, 2018. Cruise comes short of making it to the other rooftop, though, and his body slams into the building, all the while still securely attached to his safety harness. Mission: Impossible 6 star Tom Cruise limped away following what appears to be a stunt gone wrong. Cruise then pulls himself up the side of the building, attempting to continue the action, but he quickly stops as he limps a few steps, momentarily dropping to his knees next to the camera crew. The extent of his injuries is not yet known; reps for Cruise and Paramount Pictures did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
