Laura Dern wants a Blue Velvet Lego figurine

I'm a meme? If they do ever make a Blue Velvet   Lego set,    we know just the facial expression for it:

Wait. But there’s one thing Dern wants that she doesn’t have — a   Blue Velvet   Lego minifigure. A Lego version of Dern’s Jurassic Park   character, scientist Ellie Sattler, already exists. And while we don’t deserve a world with more Laura Dern Legos, we heartily support her suggestion. Following Thursday’s reveal of   Lego’s new   Last Jedi   sets, many fans were thrilled to learn that there will now be a Dern Star Wars figurine, depicting   her Resistance officer Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo. pic.twitter.com/4WqbSAz4UO

The tongue-in-cheek tweet is the latest of Dern’s sly references to her place in the pop culture canon, following her July discovery that she is a popular internet meme. Laura Dern is having quite the Dernaissance: From an Emmy nom for her scene-stealing role on   Big   Little Lies   to her crucial arc on the Twin Peaks   revival   to   her upcoming purple-haired role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi,   the veteran actress is everywhere. Uh, what's a meme? A post shared by @lauradern on Jul 5, 2017 at 3:58pm PDT
