‘Mr. Robot’ actor joins cast of teen-punk horror-thriller ‘The Ranger’

The punks escape to the woods to hide out and come up against the local authority, an unhinged park ranger with an axe to grind, hell-bent on preserving the serenity of his forest. Mr. Show Full Article Andrew van den Houten   and   Ashleigh Snead are producing The Ranger for   Hood River Entertainment   and   Larry Fessenden   and Heather Buckley   are producing   for   Glass Eye Pix, along with   Wexler. Wexler cowrote the film with Giaco Furino and is currently shooting in New York. The Ranger follows a group of teen punks who get in trouble with the cops. The director is best known as a producer and currently has three films on the festival circuit: Robert Mocker’s Like Me, Ana Ansenio’s Most Beautiful Island, and Mickey Keating’s Psychopaths, which will receive its world premiere Thursday   at the Tribeca Film Festival. Robot actor Jeremy Holm and Chloe Levine from Netflix’s The OA will both star in director Jenn Wexler’s teen-punk thriller The Ranger, it was announced Thursday. Other cast members include Granit Lahu, Jeremy Pope, Bubba Weiler, and All Cheerleaders Die actress Amanda Grace Benitez.
