The Village Wahines will be special guests. Although this concert is free, there may be a minimal luncheon fee charged at the door, as lunch is part of the event.The Findlen Village Ukes was originally founded by Frederick Findlen in 2014 as the Hot Springs Village Ukulele Band. All are welcome. At noon tomorrow the Findlen Village Ukes will present “A Christmas Island” at the McAuley Senior Citizen Center on North Highway 7, just past the West Gate. However, upon his death in August of this year, the name was changed to honor him and is now conducted by Amy Daniel, one of the original members.The Village Wahines, taught by Hilda Schumann, performs traditional Hawaiian hula dancing at its finest. They have been together for about a year.
